Women are constantly being told how we should be acting and feeling in relation to our male counterparts. However, being a woman is so incredibly amazing. And it has been AMAZING! I love mothers and I love the support I get from my mom and my husband's mom. I also get a lot of support from other young mothers. So a part of my life is loving my husband's culture too. I am currently learning Spanish and trying to teach my little girl Spanish as well. I spend a lot of time with his family who have shown me so much love and acceptance. And my family love and accept my husband as well. I've been to Mexico City twice and I got engaged in Tlaxcala, Mexico! I can't wait until the next time I get to visit Mexico again. I love the people and the language and their whole culture. I love films and the stories they tell. I also love the craft and how making films is never a "one man" job. It takes a lot of collaboration and cooperation. It's an art form that has stollen my heart and I am currently going to school for filmmaking. I also attend the Sundance Film Festival every year.
