In the teaching process we want to strengthen and activate the dialogue between short term and long term memory. In the classroom setting, as teachers we find that some things do not work as we want. When we teach, some students are not actively listening and therefore material is not going into even short term memory. Others take the material and put aspects of it into the long term memory with no regards to the material being thought. Others putting their attention but we don't know if the dialogue between the short term and long term memory is actually happened. From this we should try to employ special learning and interleaving which would activate the dialogue between short and long term memory process.

Space practice learning involves the process of learning through time. Evidence proves that cramming activates the short term m memory but does little for the long term memory. 
Interleaving is a teaching method of strengthening the learning process by taking breaks between inputs and active processing.
As teachers, we need to take advantage of class time to do the recall although it takes a long time.
