Study skills being included Within modules would be amazing

Reduction of optional modules i think is bad, the degree ends up being less specialised

I think changing the employability module to be more practical than theory would be really helpful. It would be better in the second year as people may have more of an idea about what they want to do in the future, and therefore may be more motivated to do it. Similarly, having study skills embedded into the subject may make it easier to learn as it is in direct reference to what you’re studying and easier to apply.

I like the incorporated study skills as I don’t feel it’s needed as a whole module.

Having the module for not only theory but also putting it into physical practise is an amazing idea!! Having the dissertation as compulsory is also a great idea, everyone knows a dissertation is a part of university meaning no one will be shocked they have to do one.

I wouldn’t mind the dissertation module being compulsory because I think it allows for everyone to understand what it requires

Research methods modules are repetitive, especially with them being compulsory during first and second year. Maybe the research methods module in second year could be made optional.

Study skills was very helpful regarding referencing and the general understanding of assignments.

putting employment into second year i believe would be much more beneficial, as i think having it in first year feels somewhat irrelevant, and doesnt help really towards our future because we are less likely to remember it.
