How Video games helped me see what life truly is.

Ever since I was just a little kid I loved video games, I would always watch my dad play video games and thought it was the coolest thing ever. When I got into 2nd grade we moved to my Grandma's house, due to use no longer having enough money to even keep up with everything, and since my sister was still very young at the time it became much more difficult. A little while after us living in my Grandma's house it was my brithday, I was turning 6 or 7 I don't know, but one of my presents was a Nintendo 3DS, my very first console. I remember how happy I was, I finally got to play a video game of my own. I played many games on the 3DS but my favorite was Super Smash Bros 4, the game that I like to call "The Game that started everything"

How does this relate to the theme? This relates to the theme because it shows the beginning parts of it, it shows how I got into gaming, and what my first video game console was, this is a much happier start but it's time to move onto the real theme.

Eventually I started to get older and started changing, a lot. I got more attached to video games and made me a much happier person, but like all good things in life they don't always last forever, nothing does. I eventually got to a point in life where I started stressing and having anxiety so badly that I couldn't focus, I started falling school and that just made it much worse. It didn't help I was getting grounded for these things so my mental health was falling faster than ever. I started having suicidal thoughts and just lost faith in everything, my thoughts were telling me negative things, telling me to just give up, and at that point I wanted to give up, I wanted it all to just end. But something over came me, deep down inside told me to keep trying, It was rough but I looked at things that made me happy, friends, family, and video games, so I pushed myself to be my best and try, because deep down I knew I was more then this, I knew that I was put on this earth for a reason, I may not know that reason but I kept trying, and the whole time I was looking at video games, games like Roblox, Super Smash Bros, and much others, because these are things I love and what make me happy, some things in the games looked so beautiful it made me realize that.. maybe this is worth living, even if life is hard, just know that life is truly beautiful and such an amazing gift, and video games made me realize that, because if a video game is beautiful, so is life, just give it a chance.

How does this relate to the theme? it relates to the theme because it shows even after all I went through and how I wanted to end it all. I still pushed on because video games made me realize that life itself is so beautiful and is worth everything, even if it's hard.

Fast forward to now, I am now 16 years old and now in 11th grade, and I still love video games. I still a lot of the time have episodes where I get awful thoughts and want to end it all, but even then I don't let it get to me, because even after all of that I still want to live to my fullest, I love making video games, playing video games, and hyperfixate on video game characters. want video games help me see is how important life truly is, it isn't just one big party where you can do anything you want, no. It's something you should cherish and love as you aren't always going to be here, one day you'll be somewhere better with everyone again, but until then. Do want makes you happy, and live life like no other, be the main character in your story.

How does this relate to the theme? This relates to the theme because it shows how even the smallest of things, like a video game, could help you see how life is worth living.
