         <description><![CDATA[<p>-Writer who wrote about his experiences for slavery and arguments against it.</p><p>-Was a vehement and clear writer against slavery.</p><p>-He was apart of a predominantly black Methodist church, but mostly wrote and worked on his own with very little affiliation with an organization. </p><p>Frederick Douglass was a freed slave who wrote about his experiences. He was an abolitionist writer and speaker.</p><p>He has written an autobiography about his life that made many realize the horrors of enslaving other humans.
