the song is about men. The singer makes it clear that you have to support your man even if it's hard to understand him and that you have to show the world the love you have for your man. She complains because she finds it hard to be a woman.

1)No, the message delivered by the two songs are different.Lesley Gore talk about the fact that men musn't change women because they are not toys and , on the other side, Tammy Wynette speaks about the loyalty a woman must give to a man if she loves him.

2)The two singers portrays women like hey are dependant to men , even if Lesley Gore delivers a feminist message, she only speaks about what men does that aren't good for women.
