Theme: Evidence that indicates Adnan's innocence
Response:
- The timeline when Adnan supposedly killed Hae didn't make much sense. Apparently he was in the best buy parking lost 21 minutes after school, but Sara ran through this timeline and confirmed that it was near impossible for Adnan to get to best buy and kill Hae within that time frame.
- Jay claims that there was a payphone at the best buy, however none of the workers or practically anyone can recall there being a payphone anywhere near that best buy.

Theme: Lack of solid evidence, information that indicates Adnan's innocence
Response:
- Jen's statement was very inconsistent and often contradicted itself
- Jay was also inconsistent in his story about what he claimed happened with Adnan the day of Hae's disappearance
- Adnan had no reason to trust Jay with what Jay said had happened, so his claim that Adnan asks him to help with Hae's body didn't make sense
