When Selen was 10 years old, her childhood best friend invited her to her birthday party, that day Selen had woken up so quicky to get ready.
When they arrived at her friend's house, she approached her and it was time until they made everyone sit, when Selen saw so many clowns saw that she screamed with all her strength and ran as fast as she could .

It sounded horrible since I was a little rusty and everyone looked at me since I had drawn a lot of attention, and that was my first embarrassment, after that I arrived at the table where my name was and greeted everyone, while we were talking and sharing experiences everything happened it was dinner time , as I still do not I was used to Italian food, I did not know how to eat it very well, so when they handed me the Tagliata which consists of raw beef, I did not know how I should eat or if I could ask them to cook it, so I spoke to the waiter to ask if they could cook it and he with a chuckle told me that not how it should be eaten, I suppose he laughed at my embarrassed face and again it was red since I must admit that the waiter's laugh was not delicate so again the attention of people were in me. After dinner and eating that meat it was time for dessert and the cerza of the cake on my night, for dessert they served a Cannoli Siciliani, it is a tube of fried pasta that when cut with the cutlery breaks, so I had to take it by hand and eat it, but unfortunately to bite this the filling that was ricotta cheese fell on my dress staining my chest and part of my legs.
After that I felt like a fool. I felt that no one else had made a mistake like that. Besides feeling bad, I gave more people a hard time. I felt that people talked about me all the time and whispered how badly I had behaved and how ridiculous I was.

There she was going to see a fashion show organized by the Rome Fashion University. 
Her university and others in Europe compete annually and present their designs in this important fashion show.
When the day came Selen was very excited and got up very early to go to the airport. When her taxi arrived she noticed that the taxi driver was angry. She tried to be nice but the driver treated her badly also the driver got lost and took the wrong streets. They got caught in traffic. After 40 minutes Selen managed to get to the airport and noticed that the check-in line was very long. She did not stop regretting not having left earlier.
While she was on the line she wanted to go to the bathroom. But she remembered that the last time it was dirty and smelled ugly. She could hold until the airplane. 
When it was finally her turn in line, the airline manager told her that her suitcase did not come with the ticket and she had to pay for it. She commented that Selen had two options. The first one was to pay 100 euros for the suitcase and the second was not to carry a large suitcase. 

Selen decided to pay for the suitcase but was very upset about it.
When it was time to go through security, Selen became very nervous. She passed her suitcase through the security machines but realized that it started to sound. The security officer took her to another room to check into her carry-on luggage.  They found nothing and let her go. But it took longer than expected and she lost her turn to board the airplane. She had to wait until all the passengers get on the airplene so she could get in as well.

Selen finally get into the plane and sit down. She enjoyed the flight and the food that was served, although it was not very good.She arrived to Rome without problems and went to the fashion show. Another of her superstitions is that when she is afraid or unsure of something. For example a trip or job, she asks the 65-year-old woman who lives in the next door to her apartment to put a pinch of salt on her shoes.  She asks the lady for help since she considers her the reincarnation of her grandmother.

Believing in those superstitions is not so bad, since the human being needs to believe in something and Selen believes in it, and so far it has not affected Selen in her work or personal life but, perhaps If the lady dies, Selen would feel lost and have bad luck.
