•  The person who began the Pentecostal Religion is Charles Parham. 
•  He was born in  Muscatine, Iowa on July 4, 1873. 
•  As a teenager he became a Christian and joined a local Methodist congregation. 
•  At age 26, Parham moved into Topeka, Kansas and opened up a home for Christians who were seeking God's healing.
•   At this time, he began to publish a weekly newsletter called, "The Apostolic Faith"
