         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first aspect is that the internet is an important part of our lives. We use the internet from the beginning of the journey until we finish it. We work with many devices that are connected to the internet, such as PC, tablets and smartphones. We also use it during our leisure time, we get entertainment contents from online providers, such as social medias, online series and movies providers. So we are exposed to many dangers of the internet. Our lives are exposed to not authorized access from a net.</div><div>Another aspect is that some important activities which are made online needs extreme security conditions. We need to extreme our attention when we are using bank accounts, medical devices managing, ships and also airplanes operations. These are critical elements to protect if we do not want failure and misconduct.</div><div>The last point that we need to know in order to understand that the security of the internet is important, is that trust and security has become dependent on The Net, which is a key point needed for economy. Customers and suppliers need a secure environment, since they relation on-line.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cyberbullying is one of the most common security threads that, unfortunately is happening. <mark>This thread occurs when someone uses technology to embarrass, to threaten or to harass or to target another person</mark> It occurs through instant messaging, social networks, email or even text messaging. The cyberbullies are of the same age as the victims or they could be older, but if they are an adult, then it is considered as cyber-stalking or cyberharassment.<br><br>Examples:<br>David Knight was a victim of cyberbullying. There was a website created to make fun of the boy and his family. </div><div>The website had been cancelled. A boy was receiving insulting messages from the instant messages that the social media has.</div><div>It’s not possible to find the link to the publication, since it may have been deleted from the account in the social media, which is no longer used. Social medias that allow to have conversations with other people should be supervised by the family, to prevent cyberbullying through instant messages.</div><div>- Protect your accounts. Safeguard your passwords to avoid that bullies post false, private or embarrassing information or pictures on your social media or send them to people through e-mail.<br>-Don’t post on social media pages anything that can compromise your reputation. People could judge you based on your appearance online and bullies can use it to humiliate you. Pause before you post anything on the internet.</div>]]></description>

It is usually bundled with a software, so it can infect email attachments.<br><br>Examples:<br>CovidLock, application infected victims via malicious files, promising to offer more information about the Coronavirus. Many newspapers had advised citizens about this application. And by running antivirus and antimalware software, so they can block malware from being installed. </div><div>-Avoid suspicious links, such as messages that say you have won a prize or headlines that are ambiguous and encourage you to click to read more, clickbait.</div><div>-Identify suspicious sites by checking the address bar in the browser. Kids could think that by sharing some files it is innocent, but in reality, they are serious consequences in stiff penalties.<br> <br>Examples:<br>Two men were selling products from Microsoft, Adobe and others with a website. The website has been cancelled by the police, the following link correspond to a newspaper that informs about this piracy case.</div><div>Link Software piracy suspects arrested in Skegness: <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-29049369">https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-29049369</a></div><div> Megadede is a pirate web to download links of movies and series for free. They had problems with copyright and they changed the domain three times. In order to find public domain content, search for it specifically.</div><div>-Take special attention to Creative Commons’ licenses and follow the rules that the creator wanted. Attribution, then credit the creator. Non-Commercial, you can not make a profit using the content. No Derivative Works, then do not change the content. If there is a Share Alike license, then you can change the content, but let other people to use your work.</div><div> -Do not believe what you hear. Don’t believe someone that tells you that taking a small amount of a material without permission is not copyright infringement, because there are software that will report it. </div>]]></description>
