         <description><![CDATA[<div>La médula ósea es un tejido conectivo especializado. Está formada por un tejido conectivo reticular laxo,  La primera médula ósea primitiva aparece en el feto en el segundo mes de vida intrauterina, cuando los primeros huesos comienzan a osificarse, y después se desarrolla en los demás huesos, a medida que éstos se forman. La médula ósea toma a su cargo gradualmente la función formadora de la sangre que tenía el hígado y es el principal tejido hematopoyético de la última mitad de la vida fetal y del resto de la vida.
