For example, there were unsafe waters, not enough lifeboats, and mistakes made by the crew. The first factor that caused the sinking of the Titanic was, the night of the sinking, there was an unusually high tide that could have given the Iceberg more buoyancy, speeding it towards the Titanic's path.  The second factor in the Titanic disaster was the amount of lifeboats. For example, the Titanic held more lifeboats than required by the law, however there wasn’t enough lifeboats for everyone on the ship. Also when the ship was sinking, the lifeboats weren't filled to full capacity therefore more people could have survived. Another factor in the Titanic disaster was the mistakes made by the crew.
