Temperament: Mason's temperament is easy because his mother moves around from place to place and he acts like it's not a big deal, he just goes with the flow.
Attachment: Mason has an insecure avoidant attachment. He doesn't mind getting being in a relationship, but he usually avoids his girlfriend in the movie.
Parenting style: His mother has a indulgent parenting style. She lets mason go hang out with his friends and doesn't really punish him when he is late for curfew but she is still involved in his life by asking him where he's been, what he's doing and telling him to have his cellphone on him just in case of emergencies. Both of the step-dads were authoritarian because they were strict on making them do chores and making them come home on time and if they didn't, there would be consequences.

Conclusion: YES OR NO ~ Did the divorce effect this young man? Why or why not?

Yes, because his parents divorced at such a young age, Mason was never able to have a permanent and stable home environment because of the bad father figures in his life. Going through so many different homes and families, he is emotionally wrecked because he doesn't know how to socially and emotionally keep any sort of relationship because watching your mother not being able to keep a relationship is going to hurt him in the long run. I feel that he will not really know how to trust people to his full potential because he's been let down too many times.
