The first time waster is anxiety. Anxiety is a big time waster in my life. I sometimes waste so much time just worrying about tasks or just fear that I will fail so I wont do the task. Worrying about things can put me behind and waste a lot of time. Anxiety can also make you focus on the wrong things and make you an ineffective leader.

The second time waster is video games. I play video games a lot. I enjoy video games because they're fun, but they aren't very productive. Instead of playing video games, I could be doing my school work or focusing on more important tasks. Video games can be a big distraction and make you a poor leader.

The third time waster is social media. I spend way too much time on social media. 15 minutes I'm watching a YouTube video, then the next second I realize it's been 2 hours and I'm on snapchat. Social media can make you feel bad about yourself and very self-conscious which will result in being a bad leader.

The fourth time waster is procrastination. I am very bad at procrastinating. I will put off any school work, project, or task for as long as I can. I'm very lazy and feel like I can just do it later. Procrastination can cause you to be very bad at time management and a bad leader.

The fifth time waster is not having a schedule and forgetting to plan out what to do that day. By not planning out the day I will forget something I as supposed to do that day, or I will spend unnecessary time trying to figure out what I was supposed to do. Being unorganized can lead to a poor leader cause you will forget on what to focus on and be confused.

Favorite Procrastination Quote

My favorite procrastination quote is "Procrastination is the thief of time." I really like this quote because of how real it is. If you procrastinate you are wasting so much time. If you just get your work done you will have more time and a more enjoyable experience.

The first strategy I will use is motivating yourself into action. Motivating myself into action will help me not procrastinate as often. It will also help me manage my time more and have more free time. In result, I will be a better leader by being able to motivate myself and showing others that they can motivate themselves too.

The second strategy I will use is doing the most difficult task first. Doing the most difficult task first will help me overcome all the tasks I have to do for the rest of the day because I know I will be able to complete it. This will help my leadership by helping my anxiety because if I'm able to complete the hardest task at the beginning of the day I won't worry that I will fail another task. That will result in me being able to focus on what I need to and being a better leader.

The third strategy I will use is develop a sense of urgency focus on getting the job done quickly. Developing a sense of urgency will help me stay efficient on the work I do. I will in return have more time on my hands because I'm able to do my work faster and not procrastinating. I will become a better leader and be able to empower the people I'm leading if I develop a sense of urgency.
