I am a junior at Southern Mississippi, and I attend the Gulf Park campus. I am an Elementary Education major with a focus in English. I have wanted to work with children, specifically in education, for as long as I can remember. I work at the Boys and Girls Club of the Gulf Coast as a Program Instructor and Mentor. I love my jobs, and my love for children has only grown since working there. I can't wait for my future endeavors as a teacher. So far, the biggest thing I have gained from IT 465 are all the really awesome resources I can use in the future. The Google Group project introduced me to Google Drive and all the other great functions Google has to offer. The TestMaker and Rubric maker will also benefit me in the future. I am 21 years old and I am an Elementary Education Major at USM. I will begin my student teaching next semester and I am super excited. I have a Siberian Husky and her name is Mina, and she is my BFF. I also have two sisters and my mom just had a little boy, and he is five days old new. I swear I am so obsessed with him already, poor boy is going to have to grow up with three crazy older sisters. I have really enjoyed this class so far, I have learned so much that I can bring into the classroom.
