We got to experiment and put a rainforest in a pop bottle. We learned there are layers to the rain forest. There is the forest floor, the shrub layer, the understory, the canopy, and the emergent. Today we learned about the people. There are Pardo people, white people, black people and native indians.

I learned that there are different places in Brazil. There are different colors of people. The rainforest has alligators and piranas. Brazil has a flooded desert. It looks like lots of sand and there are ponds all over. It looks like snow but it isn't. It is hot there.

Brazil has some very tall trees in the rain forest. They can be 120 feet or more tall. Up to 200 feet. Brazil has a lot of tribes. Some have never even been discovered. There are some animals that haven't even been discovered.
