1. Hellen's word choice stands out to me because not only does it create a mood, but seeing how she describes her teacher lets me know as a reader how much her teacher meant to her. Her wording also makes her writing flow, in my opinion.
2. The most obvious thing that she's trying to say is that she adores her teacher and holds her very dear to her heart. Furthermore, because this teacher has made such an impact on Hellen's life, it seems like Hellen is exemplifying her.

1- What stood out to me was how close she was to her teacher, it seems that they had a very strong bond.
2-The author is saying that her teacher taught her mostly everything she knows. The author taught her how to go through life even though Helen Keller was deaf AND blind. The text states, "She attempted to guide my mind on its way, knowing that like a brook it should be fed by mountain streams and hidden springs, until it broadened out into a deep river, capable of reflecting in its placid surface, billowy hills, the luminous shadows of trees and the blue heavens, as well as the sweet face of a little flower." This shows me that Helen's teacher would do anything to help Helen learn.
