When I was a kid my town was once full of sunshine, friendly neighbors, safety from being surrounded by people you knew & looked out for you, the most beautiful watercolor skies with mountainous scenes unlike any other. Now, the epidemic has touched down like a tornado of depression. Many have moved, drugs are sold to even middle school aged kids, the SWAT team has been there twice since I began college, and no one feels safe to explore like I did.
