🎯 Objective: Learn about local plants and animals.

Each student chooses a local plant or animal.
Writes a “wish” for its protection.
Hang all wishes on a “wish tree” in the classroom.

Our class eco-challenge was to find out how much electricity our school uses in one week.
To do this, I created a worksheet with a table where we could record the readings from the electricity meter. Every morning, we visited the meter and wrote down the number we saw. We did the same again just before going home. At the end of the week, we added up all the differences and discovered that our school had consumed 26 kW in one week.

The students loved this challenge, and every morning they were excited to check and record the new measurement.
