In this photo we can see an invention created by me. I used two DC motors putting the one with the cogwheel on top of the other. In this photo you can see a bike, is a travel method that system consists of the movement of the legs on pedals screwed to rods mounted on toothed plates and this drives, through a chain of transmission, a system of free pinion and this in turn to the rear wheel.

In the video we can see a mechanism formed by several gears (plates and pinions), one chain, two pedals and one gear change. This mechanism consists in transmitting the movement and strength of the legs to the plates by means of the pedals, later, that force is sent by the chain to the pinions connected to the wheel, which moves with the intensity of the applied force. The travel of the wheel varies depending on the gear and the plate that are geared. (In this case, the gear and the plate are in the second position).

In this picture you can see a rotary motion mechanism composed by gears. When the black gear moves, it make that the tube rotates and it produce music with the metal bars that are next to it! It is similar to the mechanism that we saw in the video on Tuesday.

This is a corkscrew that has more than one mechanisms. But i am going to talk about one of them. It has a second type of lever, is in the top. When you put a botle lid, you do the force in the opposite side, the resistance is in the middle and the fulcrum is in the opposite side of the force.
