There are plenty of organizations out there that will involve their companies with global business ventures. There are 4 main reasons for the ventures that I learned in this module. Increase profits and more opportunity to sell goods and services. Greater access to suppliers for materials and at lower costs, farmers can import food from other countries if there is an issue with the supply in the states. Reduced manufacturing costs through access to cheaper labor, paying people overseas less for the same work that would be done in the states. Social and environmental concerns, they are working towards improving and limiting air pollution, water pollution and climate change.
This link doesn't include the climate change and its not a solid source but they bring up a couple of other reasons why companies go global.
