What is Guided Pathways:
An equity-minded, student-centered experience that empowers students to reach their educational goals. ​
 
How would you like to change the student experience through Guided Pathways?
Leaning on my own experience as a former community college student and first generation student, I would like to see the following support for a GP student:
• A work study program on campus or nearby.
• Transportation.
• An advisor/Support (1 advisor throughout the entire year – a go to person for financial aid, etc).
• Balancing family tradition as a first-generation college student
• Campus housing
• What support is there after first year, to keep the student going (short term and long term goals).
 
 
What would help you become invested in Guided Pathways?
• As an adjunct instructor, I would like to use my experience in Film/media to teach at Guided Pathways at CSM.  I would like to offer engaging course content/curriculum using various forms of new media.
• Program into Canvas roster any Guided Pathway students.
