HS315 Leadership Great Commanders

Greatest Attributes:
One of General Pershing's greatest attributes was his ability to instill discipline into those he commanded.  Things as simple as buttoning your shirt or shining your boots and being meticulous about it, he was able to shape and motivate great soldiers, to include his command of the Buffalo Soldiers.  

Studying the style of leadership General Pershing established is something that proves to be highly important today.  Discipline is the main thing that I believe is missing from our Army today.  So, to learn more about General Pershing is to learn more about how important discipline is to the success of the military.
