1. The skills they have are; being able to give their clients the best resources they need, they do lots of data entry through-out their career, and being able to give their clients guidance.
2. You are able to work for CPS, and are responsible for checking for abuse/neglect. You can also work at family resource centers.
3. You need to have a LCSW in California, in order to practice Clinical Social Work.
4. I found it interesting how the speaker said that "co-dependent people" become great Social Workers. Social Workers who have experienced any sort of trauma, are able to empathize with their clients more and can be very passionate about their job.

What information had the most impact on you during the video?

In this video, Mrs. Hawthorne highlights a key distinction between having a personal opinion about a situation/individual and being trained as a social worker. She emphasizes that as social workers, we must not judge people by their actions and behaviors due to the fact that certain actions and behaviors that are portrayed by individuals are a direct reflection of their life experiences. Therefore, it is essential to set aside our personal biases and opinions when serving clients, as the role of a social worker requires a focus on the needs of the client and a commitment to treating each individual with empathy and respect, regardless of our personal views.

1. Social workers have so many skills they utilize, starting off the strongest would be empathy. Following that i would say critical thinking and assessment skills when maneuvering clients and the best plan for each individual.
2. There are many positions that someone with an MSW can enter, for example I knew many people who worked in Hopsice care and LCSW's that would accompany nursers and doctors to ensure the patient is receiving the best care according to their care plan.
3. You need your clinical license, Bachelors, and Supervised Hours, including continuing education credits throughout your career to stay up to date.
4. What impacted me the most would be how all the skills and knowledge was shared and how we can use that and apply it to our own lives, including the ability to have deep empathy for others which I've noticed isn't common for many people outside of our profession.

1. The skills you need in social work are patience and empathy when it comes to working with their clients. They must be able to provide good resources and guid people to help them with what they need.
2. You can work as a clinical social worker, work with CPS, become a school or any type of counselor, and even become a therapist.
3. The licenses you need to have are a LCSW in order to do clinical social work.
4. I think what impacted me the most was the amount of open job opportunities there are when it comes to this field of work. It is very reliving to know that you have other places and people you can work with, in case something doesn't work out at the job you are working at.

1. Effective social workers need to have excellent listening skills. This means hearing and comprehending the client's words and understanding the root of their concerns and requirements. Critical thinking skills are essential for social workers. They must be able to analyze complex situations and develop practical solutions that consider various factors. Social workers need to be well-organized to manage their caseloads and ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is complete.
2.Clinical social worker,Child welfare social worker,Policy analyst, researcher.
3. Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW),Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
4.

1. Social Workers need many skills throughout their career such as empathy, advocacy, and perhaps most importantly: building rapport with people. Building rapport with clients must come first before they can trust us to help them.
2. I learned from this video that having an MSW means it's possible to work with the FBI as a forensic profiler with that degree. This was the most surprising to me, since I have never heard this possibility before. Other jobs someone with an MSW could get include: a college counselor, working with adoption agencies, medical social worker, CPS case worker, work at a temp agency for social workers, or even run a private practice. There are almost endless possibilities for those with a MSW.
3. To practice clinical social work, one must get their MSW degree, then obtain their license. Once you are a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you can basically work any job.
4. What had the most impact on me was when she was explaining all of the different avenues she has worked in throughout her career. She has made such a difference by working in hospitals, with CPS, with pregnant teens, in home health, just to name a few. This inspires me because I can see myself working in lots of different areas throughout my career as well.

The BBS is the licensing and regulatory body for licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) and licensed professional clinical counselors (LPCCs).

1. Skills that are essential for a social worker are to serve their community and offer resources to them, communication is important since that is the way they are able to connect with their clients, and empathy for them to be able to side and understand the community they serve.
2. A Social Worker with a Masters degree is able to work as a case worker in CPS, clinical social work, legal department, or counselor at a school.
3. To practice clinical social work one must need to complete their Bachelors and Masters degree, complete certain hours of service learning/internship and be certified by the state with the proper licensing.
4. What seemed very interesting to me was to see what other careers one can take from a Masters in Social Work, from working as a Social worker to being a counselor, an MSW could open many doors.
