This book was about two kids who were cousins. They were trying to cross the Mexican border to get to safety. They were on this journey because a couple days before there journey started, the boys best friend died, he died because of a gange that everyone new about. They got a note that had a threat to kill if the kids didn’t join the group.

It is about these kids who got picked to go to Mr.Lemoncello’s library. They got picked from an essay contest to go to the library. I like this book because it really makes you think about what is happening.

It is about two people in the same war that don’t each other but it is in the same time frame. I love Alan Gratz books and love his series. History really is one of my biggest things I love to read about.
