I work with special needs kids all the time from autism to physically  disabled kids. They are no different than us, they are smart, funny and have great personalities. I don't see them any different than we are. I have trouble sitting still for long periods of time because I have scoliosis. He was diagnosed when he was 16 so he has dealt with this for a very long time and is around the age of 30 now. Other than the fact that he is in a wheelchair, his hidden disability is that he can't talk or even more any part of his body. It slowly got worse and now he can't even smile.
