While you watched the Wobble Dance, what did you notice about the bees and plants? What structures/parts of the bees were used to complete the dance? What parts of the flower did the bees use or touch?

Bees pollinate flowers and flowers give bees honey. When the bee does the waggle dance they are showing where the flower is located. So that way the bee can produce honey more faster. I don't know what parts the bee touches the flower. But as I see in cartoons they kind of go everywhere on the flower. As I watch the bee waggling I see that they move there wings more often. When they waggle they also point an angle where the flower was and move up and down. Up means toward the sun and Down means away from the sun. I wonder what happens when they go sideways.

Bees dance to communicate and to tell directions. The parts of the be used in the dance is the bees legs and their body to waggle. They use their body to shake and waggle. They also use their wings while they dance. They use their legs to move in a figure 8. Also to carry pollen. After they understand the dance 4 sister go out and follow the directions. Bees go different angles and up and down to show the directions and to show if its towards the sun or away. The bees go to the middle of the flower to collect nectar and pollen and then bring it back to the hive. They used their legs to get the pollen. The pollen is all around the flower.

The bees have to pollinate flowers and get food and I noticed they can't carry it all themselves in the pollen baskets on their legs, so they have to tell other bees to come help. How they communicate this: the wobble dance. It tells where there is a food source so other bees can go there and help collect it all for the hive. How they tell the location by the wobble dance is they waggle their abdomen more to show distance, and they dance in the direction of the food source. The dance is a figure 8.
The pollen is in the center of the flower. The bee goes all around the flower.

The structures are they dance in a figure 8 so they can communicate for the other worker bee to go next. Then the next bee goes and so on. I also noticed that the bees legs are full of nectar when it drinks from the flower. The parts the bee goes to is the middle. It waggles and uses its legs and its abdomen and it walks while dancing. Then it turns around and goes in a circle. When it does this dance it shows where the flower is located so the second worker bee can get it.
