This is my OC Traffic Jam who I decided to draw for this project. I enjoyed absolutely none of this process, this was the most infuriating experience I've ever had while drawing on any digital drawing app. Every stroke you make with the brush tool automatically creates a new layer, changing the brush size changes the size of every stroke you've previously made, what even is the point of layers if when using the eraser tool it erases on every single layer??? The only way to prevent erasing on all layers is locking all layers. Also the color picker doesn't even work correctly, and the color is slightly off which is so frustrating. 2/10 experience, I never want to do this again.

I wanted to keep the colors light and soft. Because I felt that the body of the robot was more aggressive. I had no true thought process behind the robot besides the color. I enjoyed the colors, but I found it challenging figuring out which shapes to use.

I decided to draw BMO from Adventure Time for this project, as I really like the show and thought he'd be a good subject to draw for this prompt. One thing I enjoyed was making the sketch for this. However, coloring the piece was pretty challenging since I'm not too used to doing so on Adobe Illustrator.

this is thayborg he is a silly reminagined version of thanos from avengers, except now he is now a cyborg, I really enjoyed the project as a whole and I loved the process even if it was tedious. I really found the patience aspect of all this challenging, I had to be as slow and meticulous as I could be and I'm a very fast paced person so that aspect was challenging.

This is my original character in robot form. I wanted to make her look like she was in the movie Robots (The Blue Sky Studios Movie.) Making her with shapes was challenging for me so I drew most of her proportions. The rectangle on her collarbone is where you can put a tape in and and it changes her voice. Her hands were inspired by PERIDOT with her limb enhancers in Steven Universe.

The idea behind my robot was that I wanted it to be space themed, with the stars and the deep space purple. What I think I did well was the added detail between the antennas, and the star detail around my robots name. What I found challenging was making it all flow together and look good.

for my robot the first thing that came to my mind was Wall-E so I knew I wanted a reference to that. I started with the flower which was probably the most frustrating part, in making sure all of my lines were complete and touching which I thought I had done until I started adding the color. Then I had to go back and dissect my flower to make it properly and I'm still unhappy with it. To add to this experience I still had to make my robot, so I decided it would be as basic as possible. I will say though that since the robot is mostly pre-made shapes it was much easier.

Initially I hadn't any specific concept in mind, but as my robot developed I realized she looked somewhat like a nurse. I decided to call her P.A.I.G.E. or Personal Artificial Intelligence Gear Elle (Paige Elle). Theoretically, she would be sold to companies or households to help with various tasks. Her main specialty would be in nursing, which is why she would be commonly found in schools or places with young children. I enjoyed exploring different color combinations and gradients as well as messing around with different shapes. However, I did find it somewhat challenging to make her look more like a robot, and balancing her color scheme with a background was kind of difficult.

There isn't a big concept around my robot, I kinda just went as it goes. The theme just ended up being a robot that been heated up. The one thing I felt like I did well is applying the gradient colors of the robot. One thing that was challenging was to make the steam and the hands of the robot.

I aimed to create a design for my robot that was both straightforward and whimsical. My goal was to give it a sense of clumsiness while also conveying a vibrant energetic appearance. I believe i did very well on the outline. I was able to give it a cartoonish look, just like how i envisioned. However, the most challenging part for me was the selection of colors. I was uncertain about the theme i wanted to pursue, but i decided on a palette of simple neutral colors. Despite the initial stress, i am quite pleased with the final results!

For my robot the idea was supposed to be a play on the moon rabbit from mythology. One thing I did well was getting the hang of the curvature tool. One thing I found challenging was layering. You couldn't really really draw multiple lines on the same layer without them connecting, which would be a problem later on when coloring the lines individually.

I had several inspirations for my robot going into this project. I wanted to make an alien Hatsune Miku!! For the base of the robot, I wanted to give her elements you'd see in Jenny Wakeman from My Life as a Teenage Robot. I love the shapes and fluidity of her design and wanted to incorporate it into my robot! I enjoyed making the face the most-- it's simple, yet cute and fun! I also liked incorporating so many stars into her design. I had the most trouble making the pigtails. The pigtails were made from the brush tool, which was messing up but I found a way to make it look nice enough. For my robot, I combined my favorite parts of robots I found on the internet to create this one. I wanted to go for a purple color scheme because my favorite color is purple. I decided to use gradients to color it to make it look like there was a light shining on the left side of the robot to try and add more dimension and shadow. I found making the arms very challenging because I couldn't connect the arms to the hands without completely changing the shape of it, so I had to go a different way when it came to the hands.

This guy right here is the most intimidating thing you've ever seen. He is mostly an original idea other than the fact that his head and sword is based off the of late and great Mini Peka/Peka from Clash Royale AKA the best cards in the game. On his body, he has 3 modes. MODE 1 is "Good Boy" mode. Mode 2 is "BAD BOY" mode. MODE 3 is "Cool Boy" mode. In this case he is a naughty naughty boy. I think my favorite part is the head. I like that I made him angry and ready for any situation with showing his bright red eyes and the revealing horns. I found the body challenging because I wasn't sure how to make it look COOL. There wasn't too much that made the body stand out other than the screen, buttons, and patch ups.

This is an attempt to make the Pumpkin Rabbit from a small analog horror series on Youtube. I specifically liked his design in the Halloween special so I decided to do that for my project.

I really like shaping the lines and adding a lot of curves to show some flow with the parts of his body. That process overall was the only thing I was efficient in.

What i found challenging was trying to add the details. I feel like it would look more better if I knew how to make the shapes have some sort of fur texture. I also found linking to be difficult for me since I couldn't figure out why my edits on photoshop wouldn't sync to my design in illustrator.

My robot concept is a mixture of the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie and the Sonic Mania Game Eggman robot. I used the head and body from the second movie and the drill hands from the game. The one thing I enjoyed about making this piece is using objects to make the spikes, head, and nose. The thing I found challenging was tuning half-triangles into cones so I could make the spikes and noes and then angling them so they didn't look wonky.

so, the concept behind my robot was from a metal-themed song i like that was stuck in my head for days during the process of this project, and the background specifically is something i wrote out, and it basically says "justice for male victims of SA" since i don't think they get enough support. it was also partially inspired by lala loopsey dolls and coraline (hence the button eyes). The funnest part was adding the blood to the saw/knife and her dress, and also coming up with the design. But, I hated that I accidentally colored in the hair and kinda screwed myself. also, the stress I had, since I assumed that this process would take forever was less than ideal.

The concept or inspiration behind my robot was the Six Pistols character from a show called Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

One thing I enjoyed and worked best with was the curvature tool. I really enjoyed that tool most.

One thing I found challenging was coming up with an idea and putting it onto adobe illustrator I feel I work better with Photoshop rather than Illustrator.

I made my robot pretty basic because I think that kinda cheap 2d computer type robot designs look pretty cool. I tried to make the background like he was against a wall and there was a light pointed at him like he was caught doing something. One thing that I enjoyed about this project was just playing with the gradients and being able to make my robot however I wanted. One difficult thing was keeping all the limbs the same size, or trying to expand the idea and come up with new ones while I worked on them.

For my robot I wanted a very sleek futuristic design with aspects of it that float or levitate. I was inspired by things like Eve from Wall-E, or Peridot from Steven Universe. I really enjoyed playing with the gradients as shading to give my robot a 3D look. I struggled with making my robot entirely symmetrical, there are aspects of it that don't totally line up and kinda bug me.

The idea behind my robot is a Vocaloid called Hatsune Miku, mostly the og very old 2009 Miku, and to which the only difference is that I added some robotic features to her (obviously..). A thing that I really had fun in the process of making her was totally her hair, and the fact I had to use so many shapes in order to make the hair very Miku and then from there I drew the strands of her hair. The only thing that was challenging for me was the fact that I really put my all into doing EVERY single detail that she has on her og 2009 outfit, and at some parts I did have to redraw some things to make it seem right, but in the end, I am really glad it turned out so well and so cute!!!

For my robot I wanted to try and freestyle it by using different shapes and lines. I think I enjoyed was designing the face. I liked using multiple shapes to create a unique face on my robot. One thing I found challenging was to get the gradient the same on each shape so I ended up creating a swatch and applying to majority of the shapes.

My idea was to make kinda an Android thingy but try to make it cuter since i thought that it'll be fun. Like kinda like a human skeleton or a joint doll, something like that. I just added antennas since it'd look nice. I like the robot a lot! I think it turned out nicely and the proportions looks great, in my opinion. I did have trouble with the colors and the background, since I wanted the background to be fun but not too distracting.

For my concept, I went with a robot that is either controlled or based around music. I made the base of the robot look like a boombox and made it so the robot was connected to a little ipod. Also, the broken wires make it look a little weird and interesting. I enjoyed coming up with the idea for the robot and making the broken off wires, but I found it challenging to actually put the shapes together to form it.

I decided to do my robot project on the beloved character Snoopy (SnoopyBot is what I call this creation)! I love Snoopy so much and since Valentine's Day is around the corner, I wanted it to have a Valentine's Day color scheme going on. My robot concept is based on the iPhone 16, using its exact dimensions and recreating my home screen to match the real thing as closely as possible. The goal was to create a seamless connection between the physical robot and the digital world. I think I built the body pretty good, as well as merging and connecting the limbs seamlessly.
