Christmas is well known all around the world for its special features. It occurs on 24 and 25th December but it starts from the beginning of the month. In Vietnam, Christmas has become more and more popular, especially to young people. On this day, people often decorate their houses and prepare presents,…Even so, many households in big cities buy the Christmas tree. They prepares and decorates it with colorful electric lights, gifts and and small bells. Children also love Christmas day so much. They prepare clean stocks for receiving the presents from the Santa Claus. Under the cover of darkness on 25th December night, people often go to the church to pray for best things or gather to share happiness together. In conclusion, Christmas day has become one of the most popular festivals in our country, brings a new color to the picture of a civilized religious culture in Viet Nam.

Dear Ha,

Thanks for the letters in advance. Today I want to tell you about a past mistake that left a memorable lesson for me.

Last night, I was forever addicted to playing the computer without studying because I got 10 points in the previous lesson, so I was still relaxed when I entered the class, but I didn’t thing that day the teacher asked everyone to take out papers to take the test. At first, I was worried, I kept writing and then deleting. Because I lost my temper, I couldn't do the test, the time was up, I submitted the assignment in fear. The next week, the teacher returned the lesson, I got a score of 3, my heart was aching, but I still kept a calm face to hide the worries in my heart. When she called to record the score in the notebook, I calmed down and lied to her that I got an 8, she called another friend, I breathed a sigh of relief. When I got home, I corrected my score from 3 to 8, the next day she asked to return the paper for her to check again, in the end I was found by her to be a liar, I was punished by her and I apologized to her. I regret it so much from then on I never lied to anyone again.

Lunar new year or Tet is a day that we all eagerly look forward to. Tet is one of the most important festivals in Vietnam. From 25th december to 30th december on the Lunar calendar, every places was filled with Tet atmosphere. Everyone decorate and clean their houses, going to the flower market or cooking the traditional. Every year, my family always makes banh chung and mut together. The first day of new year, people try to be nice and polite to each other. My family always go to the house's my grandmother and we go to pagoda to pray for a happy year for my family. Children is always received the 'lucky money' from other family members or parents's friends. Occasionally, we go to Vung Tau beach, Chua Chan mountain and some beautiful places and I really like this activities. Tet is a really time of fun and festivals throughout the country.

The Christmas tree is a big attraction point of Christmas. People install Christmas trees at their homes and decorate it with bells, balls, glitter, and stars. It is all about baking sweet cakes and sharing them with your loved ones. In addition, people give each other gifts. I really like this celebration because it's an occasion for people to reunite and express their love for each other.

How are you? the weather is coming colder, you should remember to wear coat to protect your health. Now,I am going to tell you about one of my most memorable past experiences.

When I was a child, I stayed with my grandparents in summer. I did morning exercise, went to market and walked with my grandmother everyday. Especially, i went to church and prayed with her every moring. It is great time. I really want to do it one more time, i want to see her. My grandmother whom i really love, she died, and i never can see her again, but i still love her.

If you still live with your grandparents, you should cherish it. I think it is the most happiness.

Hi everyone, i had a story want to tell you guys about an accident that happened to me 13 years ago and it left to me with a pretty big scar on my right hand. At that time, when my family built a new house, i was only 3 years old at that time and my sister was 6 years old, i didn’t know how to play around but then i bumped into a piece leftover glass and my hand was torn quite deeply and bleeding quite a lot. My father abd my aunt took me to the clinic to have to stitches often a while i went to cut the thread feeling scared that i was torn and had to be stitched again, i was also quite self-deprecating and some friend often teased me about that but as i got older, i become more scared and more confident. i hope it will be an experience and i don't want to happen again.
