It was a extremely great experience to experiece the west coast of the US. In this song it says “Jumped in the cab, here I am for the first time
Look to my right, and I see the Hollywood sign ”. This makes me think  _How excited i was to be in another country for the first time_. This Hyperbole in this quote highlights _How Everyone is excited to go the America for the first time, as it is.  It also says “Like, "Who's that chick that's rockin' kicks? She gotta be from out of town”. Makes me feel the way I felt running around Disneyland California and everyone thinking ‘who are these Aussies thinking they run the place’. Whenever I hear this song now, it reminds me of day in at 11 pm at disneyland when the park was sort of dead and the lines were short.

”. This makes me think  about growing up and my dad telling me you don't need anyone to tell you about how good of a bloke you are, have the confidence in yourself that you don't need reassurance. This pausing in this verse highlights provokes thought and reflection on everything.  It also says “If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?”. The song repeats this many times. This shows that you should sometimes have a break from things and reflect on how life is going.  Whenever I hear this song now, it makes me feel very nostalgic and grateful to have such wonderful people in my life.

-Min' home again ”. This makes me think about every day I come home from school and my dog being extremely excited about seeing me. This colloquial language/slang of “comin’” highlights the emotional and the comfortability of coming home.  The Song also repeats “coming home again” shows coming home everyday to that comfortability mentioned earlier.  Whenever I hear this song now, it reminds me of coming home.

There's a right and there's a wrong”. Repetition is seen in this quote  with the use of “There’s” shows how there will alway be places you can't control things in life.  Whenever I hear this song now, it makes me feel how I feel about school at this currently.

”. This makes me feel  _nostalgic and sad cause I really miss him. The repetition of "I don't" shows the author is very clear about how they feel about death. This is the same way I feel due to the death of my grandfather.  It also says “I'm happy that you're here with me, I'm sorry if I tear up
When me and you were younger, you would always make me cheer up
