I think although i can see the reason for this i think part of the reason social media is so empowering sometimes is because of anonymity. I know people such as marcus rashford have had abuse as well as rahim sterling. I think the problem is deeper than social media as the majority of racist incidents in sport tend to happen in football.
Dianne abbot has always had a huge amount of abuse as we sawon one of the activities last week, and it is not because of social media, social media is just a new way of being nasty
