         <description><![CDATA[<div>Photosynthesis is the process in which plants utilize the sun's energy to create chemical energy.&nbsp;<br>Photosynthesis in plants generally involves the green pigment chlorophyll and generates oxygen as a byproduct. Photosynthesis the complex process by which carbon dioxide, water, and certain inorganic salts are converted into carbohydrates.<br>Chloroplasts are what makes leaves green , and they are also what takes the carbon dioxide, the water and light , and turns them into sugar and oxygen. The sugar is than used by the plants for food, and the oxygen is breathed out into the atmosphere.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
