I found muzoon's story more affecting. Muzoon lived in a refugee camp and faced many problems, but she still worked hard to continue her education. Even when people around her were giving up or felt too tired to study, she kept going because she believed school was important for her future. She also encouraged other girls not to drop out, even when they were under pressure.

Her story affected me because it shows how someone can stay strong and hopeful, even in a very hard situation. Muzoon did not only think about herself, she tried to help others as well. This made her story stand out to me and made me think about how powerful education and courage can be.

βασιλης Κ. β2

I believe that Muzoon's story affected me the most because she managed to overcome extremely difficult problems and obstacles in order to achieve her goals. She lived a lot of the worst experiences a kid can live but she never gave up and she managed to make her own future better. She always stayed confident and tried to encourage the people around her and eventually, she became one of the biggest inspirations for young refugees around the world. She fought for the right of the young people's education and for all these reasons her story is just unique.

Chapter 2 presents two refugees, whose stories,in spite of the harsh conditions they both endured, come in stark contrast to one another.Personally,I found Muzon's story to be more affecting.Even though her education was halted, due to the war that was happening in her country, she became one of its brightest advocates, emphasising its importance to young girls. She even went as as far as cajoling parents into letting their daughters pursue their daughters' right to education. Therefore, her story moved me more in comparison to Mesfin's.

Reading about Mesfin’s life truly got to me. Imagining being all alone in a place that isn't your home, where every single day is a fight just to find wood to cook your food. Especially the part where he had to give up his firewood after walking so far. How can someone’s chance to eat a meal depend on something so fragile? So taking everything in consideration I can easily say that his story really made me feel a mix of feelings such as sadness, anger, helplessness and pettie.

Nikos B3

Personally I liked Muzon’s story better because of her incredible determination to continue her education despite living in a refugee camp. She refused to give up, even when her family faced danger and had to flee Syria. Her “deeply held conviction” that education can change lives inspired me. I was also touched by how she encouraged other girls to stay in school and “fought against” early marriage. Her resilience and courage show that hope can survive even in the hardest circumstances.

My favourite Renaissance artist is Leonardo da Vinci. I have always been fascinated by his genius, not only as a painter but also as a scientist, inventor and thinker. I truly admire the way his mind worked and I am honestly obsessed with his intelligence and creativity.

One of his most impressive works is The Last Supper. This painting made a huge impression on me the first time I saw it in a book. What suprises me is that many people focus more on other famous paintings and don't fully appreciate this masterpeice. In my apinion, it deserves much more attention along with one of his sketches The Vitruvian Man.

The painting shows the moment when Jesus tells his disciples that one of them will betray him. What amazed me most is the expressions on the faces of the apostles. Each person reacts differently, some look shocked, others confused or angry, Leonardo manages to show so many emotions in one single scene. The composition and the perspective are also incredible, making the painting look realistic and alive.

What makes his work even more impressive is Leonardo's deep understanding of human psychology. He was not just painting people but capturing their thoughts and feelings. That is why I believe he was a true genius.

In conclusion, Leonardo da Vinci is the Renaissance artist who inspires me the most. The Last Supper left a strong impression on me because of its emotional power and artistic perfection proving how extraordinary Leonardo's talent really was.

Mariangela Moustaka , B3 :)
