God created us to love people and to be loveable persons in this world. You cannot properly love another person without loving yourself first, you cannot put your time to others without putting time for yourself first. The opposite side of love is not hate, it is lust. Lust is the uncontrolled desire for pleasure, may it be sexual pleasure, the desire for power, or even the desire for wealth. God's love is like a bottle of water; He pours his love to us, we pour our love to others, others pour our love to us in return, anyone has the power to love, even the worst kinds of people have the power to love someone or something.

Joaquin Antonio S.

I know for a fact that God did create us to his likeness, and I also know for a fact that we aren’t just some mere coincidence that He made. He made us for LOVE, He made us TO Love, He made us to RECEIVE love, and most of all He created us WITH love. I have been witnessing people who are ashamed of who they are, “why am I different from others?”, they ask; well, my answer to that is because each one of us is unique in our own way, at the same time, all of us are His creation, and gave us the gift of life with it through our own body. God gave us a body through His love to live life and experience everything it offers; emotions, aspirations, challenges, and the like, that we can encounter, and turn these into something we can share with and inspire others. Even though we cannot see God, we can feel his presence through other people, people who love us for who we are, people who are there for us when we are miserable. Despite our flaws and wrongdoings, His love for us is eternal, unconditional, merciful, forgiving, and welcoming with open arms. God desires for us to be closer to Him. It's only that every time we sin, we drift away from Him. As we lessen our faith, it’s as we pushed Him away.

- Lisette E. De Guzman
(12-AADT)

I always thought that giving without any in return is a good thing and not that big of a deal, but in the end every single thing you do, no matter how big or small it is you as a person need to give back to them, not all the effort will come to you, that's not how it works. But in other hand, sometimes you just have to accept too when you didn't get what you want to the person you love, you can't always please anyone. You as a person need to know that people will not always give to you the love you want. The best thing you do is to accept things. Because Acceptance is showing that you love the person no matter what she does to you, you just have to respect it.

Princess Cassandra (KC) M. Amigable
AADT

We study Theology because there is a God. There is a body because there is a creator. We were made for the purpose of love. To love and to be loved. There is a balance between giving and taking. And in love, there should be a lover, a beloved, and the love between them. In our relationship with God, He is the lover, we are the beloved, and there is love. Just like the relationship between a glass of water and a pitcher; the water poured is love. The pitcher is the lover, and the glass is the beloved. In able to live life, we must love and open ourselves to accept love. We must share the love of God together.

We are the humanity whom God created in his image and likeness. God made us with purpose and love which was transferred into us and enabled us to be able to love and receive love. That love made the life of a human being worth living because we have that certain people or someone whom will make things more livable. Likewise, giving love means that you must first know how to love and accept yourself before you love someone besides you because if not then it will only mean that what you are giving to him or her is not love. It might be just your selfish needs which may be considered as a sin and if you dared to force yourself despite what you current are to love that person, it will surely affect him or her in a terrible way. That’s why a sinned person must go back to the source of that love which is God in order to cleanse himself or herself because God is love. We must first understand ourselves in order to love and be loved. In short, love is for everyone but before you love, be sure to know yourself first to avoid mistaking its true essence.

Shiela Mae R. Pasion
G12-AADT

So what I'm saying is that our bodies are beautiful in many ways and it can be mixed with the bad and the ugly. God Shows his love in all sorts of ways like what he brings to our lives. The blessings he gives us, that's already him showing his love. Spreading his joy and love to people who deserve the taste of it. God is always there. If we are in a point where we think very negatively, maybe he just allows us to better understand the situation.

A human body is not only a medium where we can showcase our emotions to others, but it is also a vessel that was given to us by our Lord. God had given us this vessel because this is his way of showing us his undying love and proves that he wants to have a relationship with us. He could've given it to anyone in the world but he chose us humans, something so fragile and can be easily outlived by nature. In reality, we are the weakest among all of his creations because with one single swoop of nature, we are out. But because he had given us this vessel, we proved to ourselves that despite our weak nature we can overcome what any obstacle comes in our way.

- Patricia Anne M.

God created us humans in his image and likeness, at the same time he gave us will, the will to do something whether be it good or bad, it is up to us what we choose. Though I believe in that statement, I dont believe that there are actual bad people who dont have any form of goodness in them, we are created from love and made to spread love, it is in our nature to also look out for others and not just ourselves. True, there are many temptations now a days that steer our vision away from what we intend to do but we have the will to either fight it or give into it. We can say that both love and sin is a butterfly effect, once someone does something that gave an impact to others that they start copying it. But all of those actions, especially love, is like a river, sometimes its fast, sometimes slow, we reach a dead end or we continue on to the vast ocean, what I want to say is, our Lord's love and forgiveness is like the ocean, never ending and ever flowing, may we follow his foot steps and make a better world for anyone and everyone.

B.

We are an instrument of God’s loving nature. Based on the discussion demonstrated previously; the cups, the bottle, and the water, appeared metaphorically as the embodiment of Love. Our body is a repository of the Almighty Father’s endearment to us, in which we are sought to bestow to others. The intimate relationship between us, and God, is perceived in our intimacy between our neighbors. As stated beforehand, we are vessels of God’s loving nature. From which we can derive that our relationship amongst others mirrors our intimate relationship with God. “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him (Hebrews 11:6).” Seek Him. On instances of impurities, wickedness, and chaos --- where Love may seem unlikely, we must Seek Him.

Love isn’t an emotion that stands alone. It's a fusion of acceptance, care, liberality, and considerably more --- amidst sorrow, sinfulness, and hatred. Love, (in any form) is the capability to discern inadequateness, and still see the righteousness within (Quoting from my answer on the previous assessment). On occurrences that flaws and sinfulness are revealed within people; it is essential to have faith, and to seek God that exists within them. The Almighty Father is intimate with those who trust him. Having faith in God draws us nearer to him, and knowing him more intimately.

God’s love is too powerful that not many people understand how or what it is. I’ve come to thought that if we received love from Him or anyone around us, we should also give love. Like the saying “Give and take.” If we return the same thing that we’re receiving from Him, we are already serving our purpose and mission in life. Being a human being is hard. We all go through different hardships, we commit sins, and we desire things. We, humans, are not used to admitting those things. We are not used to being true to anyone. Yet, I’ve realized, coming from my experiences and lessons, that God is our diary. We confessed our problems, and He cleanses them away, and the sole reason for that is because He loves us. God created us because He made us with His love. It does not matter how torn or broken we are, He will always be there. He made us with this powerful gift that all of us possessed, which allows us to love ourselves, friends, family, peers, and Him.

Gillian May R.
God created us with full effort and love in it and therefore, we as humans are naturally created to spread that love amongst others. Our bodies contain our emotions, way of thinking, and even our spiritual conscience in it. We are also given a free will where we can choose whether to love or not. The only "plot twist" in this is that we have to love ourselves first. Why? If we don't, how would we be able to know what love feels like, and how would we be able to share it to others? Loving ourselves first shows to what extent we can love as a mere human being.

As our bodies are created in the image and likeness of God, we recognize that our bodies are also vessels of love. Perhaps the reason why love is so powerful is because it is our purpose: God created us to love and be loved. It is a give-and-take purpose. "When love is present, it is never in isolation."

In our present world, however, sin and temptation overshadow our purpose. Love gets reduced to an illusion, where others mistake it for desire, selfishness, and physicality. But amidst this world of sin, God calls us with His saving love. A call from which we can be brought back to a world of real love. Thus, we must answer Him, and be on our way once more in fulfilling our purpose.

All love emanates from God. That is what makes us a disciple of His love. We are born with the capacity to love but with it comes the ability to sin. We are born tainted due to the Original Sin that Adam and Eve committed but if we will share through His Holy Sacraments, we shall be cleansed and reborn as a Christian, to be someone who loves God and proclaims His love to others. God reaches out to us through other people. In connection to that, we shall make other people feel God's presence in us. We are called to be saints- to be holy. We are all saints in the making.

Ma. Patricia F. Mendoza
12-HUMSS

As God created us in his own image, together with this is the capability of loving and being love—which surprisingly occurs naturally to mankind. This is due to the fact that God himself has the nature of loving and being loved naturally. Personally, I know that love is a strong bond and connection that holds people together, what more with our connection with God. God aimed to keep this connection as he created humans, as this is one of the strongest forces that binds us with him, together with faith. And I think that this is really beautiful.

I believe the human body holds many parts that have yet to be revealed. There's our innermost power, unbeatable strength, and endless possibilities that are just waiting to be unleashed! We're just not able to see it yet, or we do not seek it because of wanting comfort. The love of God and his desire to connect with us can take many forms. I think being connected, grounded, peaceful, and harmonic is what it means to have a relationship with God.
