For Week 2 , I watched a video about wormholes. I have been very interested in space stuff since last year . I had also already saved some videos about space in my youtube list , now that I had the opportunity, I finally had time to watch it. I am very fascinated by black holes so the idea of a wormhole is even more interesting. To be honest , sometimes when I read about space stuff it is hard for me to understand due to my lack of knowledge, however I am still very intrigued . Black holes are a sort of vacuum that will suck things in it , it is when inside where time does not matter , as time moves extremely slowly. Once you reach the event horizon of a blackhole which is somewhat in the middle. It's when your cells get pulled from all directions and you basically become a spaghetti and where you would meet your death. Scientists had this idea that wormholes actually connect these blackholes to somewhere else- a white hole. It is not proven yet and is quite impossible . From the video , scientists believe that once something enters a black hole it may exit to a white hole which is a mirrored version of the universe. Kind of like the big bang. I think that this is very cool because once this is proven all the marvel shows etc would kind of come true. With multiverse theories and all that. It may also be a way that we can travel through time and get to different parts of the universe quickly.

For Week 3 , I watched a video about Anubis who processed dead souls. This deity was part of the Egyption Mythology. Since p4 I have been very interested in Greek mythology , due to Percy Jackson though I am not sure if Rick Riodan was actually accurate with his information. I immediately fell in love with mythology, especially greek. I always heard that Egyptian mythology was pretty close and related to Greek mythology . I heard that the deity Anubis was quite popular and well-respected. Anubis was a jackal-headed deity who presided over the embalming process and accompanied dead kings in the afterworld. When kings were being judged by Osiris, Anubis placed their hearts on one side of a scale and a feather on the other. This was to test if the soul was actually good-hearted . If the soul did pass the test she would be brought to the field of reeds which is somewhat like a heaven where she can rest for eternity. However , if the soul did not pass the test, her heart would be eaten by a crocodile god. Egyptian mythology intrigues me alot especially with their idea of mummification , cravings and drawings. When I was young , I was actually pretty scared of these things and it was also associated with bad stuff , but as I started to really read into Egyptian mythology , I realised this might not be the case. Egyptian mythology does not believe in torturing souls after death unlike most other mythoglies . They respect all dead souls. I think no matter what you believe in , it must be respected by others unless it harms anyone. I think that Egyption gods are very unique. Many of them are part animals which I do not think is common for other gods. I think that looking at them gives people a sense of intimidation which will demand people to respect them. I hope to learn more about them.
