I originally came up with two ideas :
Me. :
  • This idea was simply about a boy who is scared of his own reflections, There is a structure which shows his journey in the day-to-day basis.
Mute.
  • this idea is focusing on how much we rely on sound, it's a short film which focuses on a character that is listening to music on their headphones whilst in class. their friend tries to get their attention; causing them to turn down their headphones with their phone. As this is done, the volume of existence is also being turned down. to a point in which the person who was listening to music, can now only hear their voice.  which scares them; causing them to scream at their friend. Before realizing that everyone is starring at the person.

Once my teachers saw this,  they recommenced that I merge the technique which I am using within the Mute idea and incorporate it with the Me idea, whilst also considering to add blocking to show the physiology symbols of the boy who is in the film.

The teachers also pointed out that the first idea could have more history behind it; no one really knew why the boy is scared of his own reflections.

I used a table to organised the content of the synopsis into sections. These sections are completely random; but help me to break everything down further more.

I added some history and names to the script, as it's important. Lucas is the boy, he had killed his sister; Charlotte. Although, he did mention that Lukas may not have killed Charlotte, but feels like Charlotte died because of something which he had done.

I wont be able to hire actors or crew members as easily, and doing so would put the actors and crew at risk of catching the virus if not caught already.
