In chapter 5, Gilbert Blythe appears and makes fun of Anne by calling her “Carrots” because of her red hair. Anne gets furious because that is something that makes her feel insecure, and she even breaks her slate on his head. This moment is important because it starts the relationship between Anne and Gilbert: he admires her, but she cannot forgive him because he touched her most sensitive point. For me, this shows how a joke or rejection can change how we see other people. It also shows that Anne is brave and defends herself, even if sometimes she reacts too strongly.

In chapter 6, Anne invites Diana to tea, but by mistake she gives her wine instead of juice, and her friend gets drunk. Diana’s mother gets very angry and forbids them to see each other again. This is very sad for Anne because Diana is her first true “kindred spirit,” her soulmate friend. Later, when Diana’s little sister becomes sick, Anne helps to save her with her care. Thanks to this, the family sees that Anne also has a very good heart. This part made me think that everybody makes mistakes, but what really matters is how we act afterwards. This line caught my attention because it shows her pride and her strong desire to be authentic. She doesn’t want to change just to please others, even if it makes her life more difficult. It made me reflect on how important it is to stay true to who we are.

I am reading Chapters Four, Five, and Six. In Chapter Four, Eeyore is sad because he loses his tail. He does not know where it is. Pooh talks to him and wants to help. Pooh goes to Owl. Owl is using Eeyore’s tail on his door, but he does not know it is a tail. At the end, Christopher Robin puts the tail back on Eeyore, and Eeyore feels better.

In Chapter Five, Pooh and Piglet want to catch a Heffalump. They do not really know what a Heffalump looks like. They make a plan. They dig a deep hole and put a jar of honey in it. At night, Pooh is hungry, so he eats the honey. His head gets stuck in the jar. Piglet hears him and thinks he is a Heffalump. Piglet is scared and runs to Christopher Robin. Then they see it is only Pooh with the jar on his head.

In Chapter Six, it is Eeyore’s birthday. Eeyore is sad because he thinks nobody remembers. Pooh wants to give him a present. He takes a small jar of honey, but he eats all the honey on the way. Piglet also wants to give him a balloon, but he runs and falls, and the balloon breaks. At the end, they still give the empty jar and the broken balloon to Eeyore.

I like these chapters because they are funny and the characters try to help each other.

In chapter 8 Anne goes to a party at Diana’s house, where the girls play a game of dares. Anne tries to climb to the top of Diana’s house but falls and hurts her leg. She cannot walk for several weeks, and during this time she realizes how much Marilla and Matthew care about her. When she returns to school, she meets the new teacher, Miss Stacy, who is young, creative, and supportive. Anne loves her. Later, Matthew notices that Anne’s dresses are not as pretty as the other girls’ clothes, so he secretly asks Mrs. Lynde to help him buy Anne a beautiful dress as a Christmas gift. Anne is overjoyed and wears it proudly at the Christmas concert.

An the chapert 9 Anne continues to make silly mistakes. First, she tries to dye her red hair black, but it turns green instead. She is so embarrassed that she refuses to go to school until Marilla cuts her hair short. Eventually, looks prettier than before. Another time, Anne and her friends play a dramatic game by the river. Anne pretends to be a character who floats in a boat, but the old boat sinks and she almost drowns. Luckily, Gilbert Blythe saves her. He apologizes for teasing her about her red hair and asks to be friends, but Anne is still too proud and refuses, promising never to be his friend.

In chapter 4, we see Eeyore very sad because he has lost his tail. Even if it seems like a small detail, for him it is very important because it makes him feel incomplete. Pooh, with his simple and kind heart, decides to help him, and with the assistance of Christopher Robin, they manage to return the tail to Eeyore. • For me, the Heffalump is like the fears we all have in life. Sometimes we are scared of things that only exist in our imagination, and later we realize they were not real.

I love how Eeyore, despite everything, finds a way to be happy with what he has.

Impressions on the book

I really enjoy reading Winnie-the-Pooh. It’s sweet and calming, and the characters feel like old friends. The language is simple but enjoyable and the illustrations add a lot of charm. Even though it’s a children’s book, it has a lot of wisdom in it.

In chapter 5, called "The dancing cow", Jane is ill, so Michael decides to tell her everything that happens outside through the window, and suddenly he sees a cow walking down the street. Mary Poppins does not seem surprised, because she knows this cow, and tells Jane and Michael the story of how the cow danced and danced and could not stoped, and in the end went crazy for trying to found a star.

Finally, in chapter 6, called "Bad Tuesday", Michael wakes up in a very bad mood. He decides to be disobedient and rude to everyone, feeling good for acting like this. Later, during a walk in the park with Mary Poppins and Jane, they find a compass on the ground that Mary Poppins claims is hers. I am reading Winnie the Pooh and I am now in chapters 3 and 4. In these chapters, we learn more about Pooh’s adventures and his funny personality. In chapter 3, Pooh goes to Rabbit’s house and eats too much honey. Because of that, he gets stuck in Rabbit’s front door when he tries to leave, and all the friends have to help him. This part shows how much Pooh loves honey, but also how patient and kind his friends are with him, because they wait for days until he becomes thin enough to get out.

In chapter 4, Christopher Robin organizes a small adventure with Pooh and the other animals. They all join together and use their imagination to make the day exciting. This shows how friendship and teamwork are very important in the Hundred Acre Wood, and how even simple activities can become special when you share them with friends.

The only thing is that everything happens very fast, maybe because the novel wants to show Anne's essence in its own way.

There are characters I didn't like, like Mrs. Lynde, but they also had their own development and personal growth, just like Anne. Another part that impressed me was Matthew's death. He was the only one who showed compassion to Anne from the beginning and was her first friend.

I also liked Anne and her personal growth throughout the story. On the other hand, her strength to face everything she went through-every rejection, every insult-and still keep her perseverance and energy was impressive.

In chapter 4, the story focuses on Eeyore, who feels miserable after losing his tail. Pooh decides to help him and goes to Owl for advice. Although Owl speaks at length without much clarity, it is Christopher Robin who finally discovers the tail and fastens it back with a nail. Another theory is that it is a story to break stereotypes, for the time when this story was published, women were still framed only in the role of wife and mother, also having to comply with the stereotype of being reserved and delicate. Mary Poppins is quite the opposite, she is independent and extravagant, although in a world of fantasy, this freedom of women is explored, being a criticism of the reality of the time.

It teaches us to be creative and not be afraid to be different, just like Mary Poppins. Imagination and creativity are the greatest strength of our mind, and this story teaches us that there is no age to stop dreaming.

People of any age can read it and entertain themselves, whether children with the adventures of the characters, or adults, in addition to the reflection that gives us.

It´s a funny line, because Michael wakes up in a bad mood, and Mary Poppins is just trying to explain Michael's bad mood with a joke.

In the chapter 4 Eeyore lost his tail and he was really sad but Pooh realizes and talks with him to talk about why he was sad and Eeyore tells Pooh of his tail. Then Pooh helps him to find his tail and he goes around the forest till he goes to the owl house. When the Owl opened the door, Pooh was talking and asking question to the owl until he realizes the door has a tail on the owl's door. After that Christopher puts the tail back to Eeyore and he feels much better.

In chapter 5, Pooh and Piglet were going back home and Pooh planned to catch a Heffalump. They didn't know how's a Heffalump like so they had the curiosity and made a trap but they made a trap with a jar of honey. And then they went to fall asleep. After a nap, Pooh wakes up early to check up on the trap but he was very hungry. And he couldn't resist and started to eat honey from the jar but he got stuck. Piglet heard a sound he went to check up on the trap too and he got scared when he saws something in the trap but he didn't know it was Pooh, so Piglet went to find Christopher and when Christopher checked on the trap. They realized it was Pooh inside and Piglet feels ashamed after realizing it was Pooh and not what he thought it was; a Heffalump.

In Chapter 6, Pooh goes to see Eeyore. Eeyore greets but a little sad and Pooh asks to him about his sadness and it was his birthday and he was sad because nobody didn't know about his birthday. Pooh felt sad and he went quickly back home to find something to gift to Eeyore, Piglet visits Pooh and Piglet asks to Pooh to share gift, so both of them give a jar of honey to Eeyore, But Pooh refuses so Piglet goes back home quickly to find a ballon he had from its previous birthday. Pooh gets distracted and ends up eating the honey from the jar and he starts to think what to give to Eeyore now. And he had to idea to clean the jar and give it with a happy birthday message to Eeyore so he can save things inside the jar, after that he goes quickly to owl's house. And the owl helped Pooh to write a happy birthday message to Eeyore because the pooh didn't know how to read either write. After that, Pooh goes to give the gift to Eeyore. Meanwhile Piglet was running to see Eeyore to give him the ballon but he falls down and the ballons explodes. Piglet didn't have another option to give Eeyore the exploded ballon to him. Piglet was the first one to see Eeyore and he apologizes and he gives the ballon to Eeyores. He wasn't mad or sad he understood and he ask to Piglet if he was okay. And then Pooh came to see Eeyore and then Pooh gives the jar with the happy birthday messages. After Eeyore read the message and Pooh explained the use of the Jar. He was more than happy with the gifts.

Chapter 5, "It isn't as easy as I thought I suppose that's why Heffalumps hardly ever get caught" (When Piglet reflects and realizes how hard it is to catch a Heffalump.)

Chapter 6, Many happy returns of the day -Piglet. (Even though bad or sad days all the happiness and joyful will come back, a back moment is temporal.)

Also I think the book wants to tell us we can live happily with what we currently have. It's the real happiness. It's not only about objects or being smart. To be happy you just enjoy what you have around. Your friends. Where you live. What you have. Life is not having a lot of things or being smart. It's about being a kind person and be happy with those beloved ones you have around.

Also, one beautiful thing is they don't matter about silly things or mistakes the friendship doesn't change. Showing us that a mistake doesn't make us bad. It's a opportunity to make a change about it and be better with that.

In her eagerness to go to the party, Anne tells a lie that only makes things worse for her. I think she said this because of the life she had lived. Of course, her desperation to go to the party, have fun, and fit in influenced her decision, but beyond that, the lie she told doesn't make much sense. Basically, she told Marilla, "I disobeyed you."

I think this answer was more of a spontaneous reaction. I'm not saying she's dumb; I just think she didn't have a clear sense of what was right or wrong because her life was always about following orders. This stopped her from forming her own ideas about people or experiences she wanted, because that was never possible-until she arrived at Green Gables.

In chapter 5, Pooh and Piglet come up with a plan to trap a Heffalump. They dig a large hole and leave a jar of honey inside as bait. But during the night, Pooh gets hungry, goes to the trap, and ends up stuck in it himself. Piglet, thinking they succeeded, runs to call Christopher Robin, but when they return, they see it was only Pooh all along. I think this part is very amusing, and it also shows that sometimes our own weaknesses or desires—like Pooh’s obsession with honey—can create problems for us.

In chapter 6, we discover it is Eeyore’s birthday. At first, nobody remembers, and he feels forgotten and miserable. Later, Pooh decides to bring him a honey pot (which he eats before giving it), while Piglet tries to give him a balloon (which pops on the way). Even though the presents are not perfect, Eeyore feels glad because his friends thought of him. For me, this moment is special because it shows that what really counts is not the present itself, but the thought and affection behind it.

After reading these chapters, I realized that Winnie the Pooh is more than just a children’s tale. It carries valuable lessons about caring for others, the meaning of friendship, and how simple gestures can make someone feel loved and appreciated.

* "Till the wind changes," she said and went to bed. (Answering when she will leave)

* "The best people, madam," Mary Poppins said, "give every second Thursday. Or...". (Regarding her 'Day Out')

* "In Fairyland," said Mary Poppins.

* "Cinderella? Not me... No!" said Mary Poppins.

* "Robinson Crusoe - no!" said Mary Poppins.

* "Don't you know," she said, "that everybody's got a Fairyland of their own?".

I think this story was to make kids more comfortable and empathetic towards "nannys" or sitters, sometimes kids can be cruel towards people taking care of them like the kids on the story, and giving them the opportunity to picture them as heroes or respectable people, also to improve their creativity making them imagine of their own sitters as persons with powers such floating in the wind with an umbrella.

In chapter 5, Anne acted very rude with her classmate because of his joke, Anne didn't like him after that, so she decided to ignore him. And there was her teacher, Mr. Phillips, who she was in troubles too, because he was too strict and indiferent with her.

In chapter 6, there was a trouble with her best friend, Diana, because Anne gave her wine instead of fruit cordial (she thought that the wine was the fruit cordial) so Diana got drunk accidentally, and Diana's mother was so disappointed with Anne, after that, the parents of children went to a meeting at night, but the Diana's little sister got sick the same night, so Anne, Diana and Matthew had to take care of her until the Doctors came up to the house. After that incident, Diana's mother said sorry to Anne and she allowed Diana to stay being friend with hers.
