Then, thoughtfully comment by Friday on a minimum of two class members' responses. en-us 2019-05-03 18:54:26 UTC 2019-06-29 02:31:05 UTC hello@padlet.com https://padlet.com/jessicaaprilwilliams/mt9030xi7mmt/wish/368965679 After reading the article on the professors way to connect with struggling students is really good to see.  I think back to classes in college which I didn't do well is because I never got back ahead of the game in the curriculum.  I think that a first or second year teacher feels the same.  I think we all still could ask 5 to 10 questions a day about different mandates and happenings in our buildings.  I just try to wait until someone brings it up in a conversation, but if you are a first or second year teacher there are not a lot of conversations happening.  I like sending an email, to help students would be difficult to send a new teacher.  One thing I would maybe recommend is the head of our mentor program have a list of questions that could be sent out from the mentors to help the mentee's  If I am the mentor then I could send out a personalized email and not the Director of teaching and learning.  We as a group of teachers would get a much better response to the actual progress the teacher is making. I think this would be a good way to help conversations start when the new teacher is ready.

I need to share with them on a smaller level but we have a second step time at the middle school so I could implement there! I would try to ask better and more questions in team meetings, ask more people how they feel to start to understand why toxic climates start. I would like to have two passing times that are only about relationships and non school related topics! I am going to talk more about resilience and how it can help all of us get to the place we want to be as teachers. I will go back and look at my exit tickets to see what I forgot already in my learning. Which I would like to start a padlet Friday activities for the kids in my 6th grade Science class.
