1.)"The rise in air temperature suggested by the temperature sensitivities of glaciers in cold regions is somewhat greater than the global average temperature rise derived largely from low altitude gauges, and the warming is accelerating."
*By analyzing changes in our environment caused by a shift in climate, and compare it to the recent actions, such as revolutionizing industrial aspects of human life, we are able to see a direct correlation between the two. Evidence, such as melting of glaciers with rising temperatures in recent years can be directly related to human causes. See visual representation 1 to note the differences man has made, relative to evidence in this quote.

2.)"Due to human activities, the atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide has been rising extensively since the Industrial Revolution and has now reached dangerous levels not seen in the last 3 million years. Human sources of carbon dioxide emissions are much smaller than natural emissions but they have upset the natural balance that existed for many thousands of years before the influence of humans."
*This quote relates well with visual representation 1. This verbal representation of the graph analyzes in further depth the details of human causes of CO2 emissions, which directly relate to the greenhouse gases and climate.

3.)"A layer of greenhouse gases – primarily water vapor, and including much smaller amounts of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide – acts as a thermal blanket for the Earth, absorbing heat and warming the surface to a life-supporting average of 59 degrees Fahrenheit (15 degrees Celsius). Most climate scientists agree the main cause of the current global warming trend is human expansion of the "greenhouse effect"1 — warming that results when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space."
*In this quote, we begin to tie in the statistics with the reasoning. We know from the two previous quotes and visual representation 1 that CO2 emission has increased dramatically due to human impact over the past several years. By increasing our greenhouse gases, we are essentially making the blanket over Earth thicker, for lack of a better term. This heats the planet, in turn leading to warmer oceans, melting glaciers, etc.

4.)"Anthropogenic CO2 sources are part of our everyday activities and include those from power generation, transportation, industrial sources, chemical production, petroleum production, and agricultural practices. Many of these source types burn fossil fuels (coal, oil, and natural gas), which are the leading cause of CO2 emissions."
*See "So what can we do to help?".

For obvious reasons, we cannot obstruct the freedoms of the people. However, by providing safer alternatives, we may be able to prevent extensive damage done to our planet in upcoming years. In quotation 4, we are provided the fact that fossil fuel burning is one of the primary reasons for the emission of CO2. In urban areas with lots of cars, for example, the state may provide better public transportation in an attempt to promote car-pooling and therefore less emissions. I do understand that we are unable to provide subway stations, like, for example, New York. However, we could provide more convenient and frequent bus stop locations and more sanitary and welcoming conditions in pre-existing stops and buses. Better yet, and common in places such as Miami and New York, rentable bikes could be made available for close individual travel. As previously stated, we cannot eliminate the use of personal vehicles. We can, however, make other options far more appealing with assistance from the state.

In addition, government funding towards things, such as the oil or cattle (lots of CO2 emissions!) industry could be directed to other areas which have a less stressful effect on the environment. Any government funding that would initially go to this, for example, could instead go towards solar energy and fields of crops rather than animals. If the state were to invest more money into solar energy, for example, we would be significantly less reliable on fuel. It may initially cost more money than fuel, but once established, solar plants are eco-friendly money makers! If we used solar power to fuel all government-run buildings, whether that be schools, fire stations, etc., we can significantly reduce the Co2 emissions in Florida based on that alone.

If Florida were to simply allow for more convenient options including, but not limited to, frequent bus stops, recycling bins near all trash bins in public locations, and numerous other alternatives that are safer for our environment, we could help eliminate some human causes of climate change. Realistically, I do not foresee laws limiting the amount we can drive, or the amount of fuel we can use at home. Rather than force a change among people and cause a panic, it may simply be best to provide and encourage change in more subtle ways, initially. Eventually, we may be able to limit hours electricity is used, or ration fuel use, for example, but to jump drastically into it may not be the best approach.

Now is the time for action. Our climate is changing rapidly, and I'm afraid there is not much time to try to fix our mistakes.
