My extended family all live in the UK and I still have a strong pull to where I was born - Christchurch, England - a breezy seaside town. To be honest i kind of cringe at the term 'Australian' as it seems to me to be a point of difference from another 'non-Australian'.
Furthermore, it is a term generally used in nationalistic debates concerning belonging and assimilation to a common ideal of 'Australianess' with which i do not generally identify. 

However, for lack of an alternative term I suppose I would say I am an Australian, having lived here and been born here. Home for me denotes a community of friends and family, as well as the place i live.

I feel as-though Pirie is my home, all my family is back there and it's where I grew up. I was born in the Riverland in South Australia and moved to Adelaide when I was 3 years old. 
I identify as Aboriginal. My grandmother was part of the Stolen Generations and as a result I do not know what Aboriginal nation I belong to. If I did I would most certainly identify with a specific nation.
Home for me is really where my loved ones are; my son, my dog (and the cat i suppose...).
