I have lived in Blaine my whole life. I have an older brother and two older sisters. I love to travel and have been out of the country over 5 times, to places like Norway, Spain, and Denmark. I have been playing soccer and dancing since I was little, and have continued pursuing those activities until now. I’ve also picked up lacrosse in 7th grade and have had a lot of fun playing. Participating in many sports, I have met most of the friends I have now. I love to hang out and talk to them, as they are some of the funniest and most interesting people I’ve ever met.

This Summer

This summer, I was very busy. From the moment school was ending, dance was starting and I was practicing 4 times a week through June. Around the same time I was playing soccer in the U.S.A. Cup. After that, I started working most days in the summer to earn good money. I went to dance camp, and a weeklong “camp” hosted at my friend’s cabin. I did lots of swimming, tanning, and hanging out with my friends in my free time. Towards the end of the summer, our exchange student arrived and we took a trip to Florida.

Strengths and Needs

I am good at working with others in small groups, and I am kind and respectful. I’m pretty good at understanding the assignments and texts that we will read. I need a schedule that is laid out, which includes things like how far along I should be in a project as deadlines are hard for me. I tend to procrastinate a lot so this can help me plan my work better. I struggle to stay motivated in projects that don’t interest me.

Something Going Well

Something that is going well for me right now is dance. As of right now we are in the fall season, and it has been really fun. There hasn’t been as much pressure as I thought there would have been from being on the leadership team. The dances have been looking super good and everybody has been able to pick up on the choreography easily. It has been great to see the progress that our team is making, and to be more carefree before the heavy stress of the winter season starts.
