         <description><![CDATA[<div>-The chemical process that generates most of the energy in the cell, supplying molecules needed to make the metabolic reactions (see metabolism) of an organism run.<br>-The products of photosynthesis are sugar (glucose) and oxygen. In a plant, the carbon dioxide enters via leaf stomates by diffusion. Water is absorbed through the roots and is transported to leaves through the xylem. Solar energy is absorbed by chlorophyll in the leaves.<br>- Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the primary greenhouse gas emitted through human activities. In 2014, CO2 accounted for about 80.9% of all U.S. greenhouse gas emissions from human activities.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.Photosynthesis makes the glucose that is used in cellular respiration to make ATP. The glucose is then turned back into carbon dioxide, which is used in photosynthesis. While water is broken down to form oxygen during photosynthesis, in cellular respiration oxygen is combined with hydrogen to form water.<br>2.Photosynthesis plays an important role in the environment for several reasons as it helps clean the air because plants use the carbon dioxide in the air for photosynthesis, the plants produce oxygen as a by-product which all humans and animals need to live and it also makes plants grow, providing food for animals that feed on plants.<br>3.The production of energy requires oxygen. The electron transport chain, where the majority of ATP is formed, requires a large input of oxygen.
