I am able to target areas in need. My students have very splintered rote skills and during "guided reading" I am able to build upon those skills individually. 

Struggles: pairing students. I normally have a small class and do guided reading in a 1:1 setting or in a dyad. 

Struggle: assessing on a regular basis. During guided reading it is more fun and instructional rather than to collect data. I do no typically use running records regularly.
