The classroom in the future will be something different if the teachers ( I think to italian traditional ways of teaching) should be ready to modify their ways to teach in it.
In the present teachers should be the promoters of lifelong learning so that in the future there may be people who have developed useful skills for life.

The skills to be promoted are those indicated by the European framework of eight key competences:
Communication in the mother tongue; Communication in foreign languages; Mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology; Digital competence; Learning to learn; social and civic competences; Spirit of initiative and the entrepreneurship; Cultural awareness and expression.
I think that a teacher should consider social competences first of all, but digital skills, critical thinking, communication are very important too.

In Italian schools must be rethought from all points of view. It would be fantastic to redesign spaces to promote learning. Students learn with different styles so they need different times and places and above all exchanges to to confront and grow. If then there were all possible technologies, each school would be a real laboratory of learning by doing.
I teach a subject (math) that I wasn't like when I was a student then I try to teach its making it amusing; Sometimes I use a creative zone.
