Mrs. Perkins- Since I started using Google Classroom, my class has been way more technologically driven. My student frequently complete digital graphic organizers which allows for collaborative planning and quick feedback. I also use ReadWorks.org which has ESL/Audio services for free- and immediate teacher data. My kids LOVE kahoot and Quizziz. We've used Plickers a few times, but I've found this requires more planning than the others. Google Classroom has made it way easier for the kids to access these sites and others as I can easily post the links.

Quizizz, Explain Everything, Education Galaxy, and Whiteboards-Mrs. Luckenbaugh

I use Quizizz for a quick formative assessment for addition and subtraction with and without regrouping. I have the students use whiteboards to work out the problem before they select an answer. This allows me to monitor for mistakes students may be making so I can address this immediately and reteach at that moment. Explain Everything also allows students to explain the steps to solve a problem. I also find the matching TEK on Education Galaxy and students log on to that specific TEK to follow up a lesson.

Plickers is something that my students really enjoy. It took a little bit for them to get used to holding the cards in the appropriate orientation for each answer. However, with the data, I am able to differentiate groups based on readiness.

Kahoot! is an oldie but goodie. The kids are always excited to do whatever activity we are doing on it!

Mrs. Hernandez--I love working with GoFormative, makes it really easy to find where students are at immediately and be able to stop misconceptions because the students responses immediately show up on your iPad or computer as they are answering.

Quizzizz was really fun to use with multiplication facts. It's also fun to use for reading or any type of vocabulary quizzes that you want to do. I love that I'm able to see which students are struggling very quickly. I am able to adjust my instruction and figure out if whatever I am assessing needs to be retaught in a whole group or small group setting. -Rawson

Students with basic understanding can use the match option while our higher students utilize the "galaxy" game for more of a challenge!
