Holding a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed a traditional osteopathic internship at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Tran then enrolled in the school’s dermatology and dermatologic surgery residency program. After completing his residency, Dr. Thi Thien Nguyen Tran opened Village Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, LLC in 2004. He is the owner and medical director of the practice, where he focuses largely on adult dermatology with the emphasis on early detection and treatment of skin cancers, specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery and facial reconstruction. Before practicing medicine, Dr. Thi Thien Nguyen Tran worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Anatomy and the Department of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
