In my opinion the Chinese immigrants was the most interesting because they lived in such harsh condition. I would ask them what was it like to get to the united states, How hard do you work in the factory, What is your life like in the united states, How did you learn to understand English if you did not know how to speak the language, What was the most popular food that you ate? What was your fashion like, How much money did you make in a week and how well did you get treated by other immigrants? I think the Chinese exclusion act is good because if to many Chinese come to America they could take over are country. I think its good that only the dads can come to America because the children could get hurt or get stolen and the mother has to take care of the children in china. So the men are safe from danger. It's just for their children's safety. In conclusion these are some questions I would ask the Chinese about their lives and some facts about the New York city's Chinese immigrants.

Do you know what it was like to be a immigrant? In my Opinion I think that the Italians are the most interesting because I had no idea that back then women could work besides cooking and washing clothes

If I went there I would ask them "Why do you live behind your work factory? Why do you not have a healthy environment to live in? "

Do you now what a immigrant is? I think the Italian was the most interesting because they had big Italian fiestas with Italian food, culture, and outfits.
I would want to ask them when you move to New York, what were you expecting, a rich paradise or a street to live on? What did you make the fake flowers out of? how did you have money for 20{or more} fiestas a year?

As you can see, the Italian was the most interesting of the Chinese, Jewish and Italian immigrant's.

In my opinion I find the Chinese immigrant's community intresting because of what was going on in there life. for example they went to America and the only job they could have is to be a cook or a launderymen . Also, they didn't have equal rights. This makes me feel bad for them. if I could ask one question I would ask what they would do for equal rights.

In my opinion the part I found most interesting was when it was in Mott Street it was talking about the bachelor society and also when it was talking about the Chinese people could not become citizen of the United states. If I lived in Mott Street I would ask the people if they missed there family or I would also ask how hard there jobs were and if they ever got hurt doing there job and if they got treated differently by other people or other immigrants. If that ever happened to me I would not want to live there with my family or just my dad because women or children could not come with the men to the United States but men could earn money to go back to the women and the children so they can live there lives together. The man would have to go after they ran out of money for a couple years so they could earn more money so they can get a better life. I wonder if I will get treated differently if I lived in New York ?I feel very bad of how they were treated back then lukily that is over now.
