During this week's study, I was very happy to meet a lot of new classmates, on the first day we all introduced ourselves and slowly got to know our classmates, they were all very friendly, we would share our respective moods and some questions in the wechat group, and many of them would enthusiastically tell me how to use the two websites, moodle and padlet. At the beginning, I had no direction at all, I didn't know how to open so many links, it made me a little bit confused hahahaha, but after a few days of learning, plus janet was very patient, she taught us how to use these websites and links in every class, and now I'm able to use them very skilfully.

In the classroom we try to use English instead of our mother tongue, which is very difficult for me, because the way of thinking is completely different, it takes some time to get used to it, but after a few days of learning I think it's already much better than the first day, I'm more able to answer some simple questions. janet is also very patient, he will explain to us a lot of words or phrases that are difficult for us to understand. He would explain to us many words or phrases that were difficult for us to understand.

In the coming week, I hope I can express my ideas in English more confidently, speak more and not be afraid of making mistakes.I also need to read more articles to improve my artistic skills.

This is the second week of the EAP course and I do feel more confident in expressing myself than last week. at the end of each day I look at the vocabulary padlet that janet has created and I think that reviewing it several times will help me to get a better grasp of the vocabulary until I am able to use it well in my everyday speaking.Mind maps are also a good way to help us organise our thoughts and develop our thinking. In class, we use mind maps to discuss our ideas and students can keep adding ideas to the padlet. And new ideas may keep coming along the way.

In this week's webinar, I tried to take down notes and jot down the aim ideas of each speaker. although my notes were not as accurate as I would have liked, I tried to do so, and I especially liked the second speaker's elaboration on the evolution of Chinese clothing , because I am also a girl who likes traditional Chinese clothing very much.

I hope that in the next week's study, I can continue to improve my communication skills and become more confident

I have missed two classes this week due to health reasons, but I have gained a lot from the other classes. In Friday's presentation, we discussed our respective concepts and we asked each other a lot of questions, which I felt would allow us to be more inspired to come up with more ideas and spread my mind, whether it's in creative writing or in writing. At the same time I also found my problem, during the presentation I still read from the script, I realised that this is not a real presentation, I need to make myself more confident and fluent to express my own ideas and organise my language, I think this is something I need to practice. In our weekly group collaborative discussions we discussed with each other about our inspirations and the materials we had collected, we combined our ideas and confirmed the final output, I think this was a great improvement in this project. In next week's study, I will make up for last week's absences and try not to fall off everyone's bandwagon and study even more seriously!

This week I feel more serious about getting into the swing of learning than I have in previous weeks. This week I focused more on finding sources for my articles, in last week's presentation I found that we had a lot of practice type things in our PowerPoint, but I needed more sources to base my articles on and also to find artists that I liked.I read a lot of articles this week, but I found it hard to find ones that I liked or that I could learn from, then I had a look at a lot of videos of artists and their work, I searched for a lot of metal artists and found a favourite one from them.I also learnt a lot from discussions with my classmates, several of them looked for a lot of richness and had a lot of sources pasted on the padlet. We also learnt a lot from each other in our classroom exchanges.

This week's study, I think I have learnt a lot, especially the presentation on Friday, in the process of communicating with my classmates, I feel less shy than before, although not yet very free, but I feel a little better than the previous two weeks. In the process of communicating with my classmates, I also learnt a lot of knowledge and opinions of students from different majors, especially in the aspect of ai, the part of our major that involves ai is very little, it is still mainly some crafts and so on, but in xiutong and yilu's majors, they have a lot of opinions about the future of science and technology and ai, which I think it's very interesting.I also found it interesting to learn about zongyi's understanding of the father-son relationship, which has always been very subtle in China. In next week's study, I still think I should speak more and communicate more.

This week's study is mainly on the draft of the essay. In the beginning, I relied too much on ai to finish my homework, and the ai translation made the article look gorgeous, but it was not my writing level. Therefore, in the subsequent revision, I no longer used the translation software for the whole sentence, but began to write sentences by myself, and used ai to translate the words I could not meet.

In this week's speaking, each of us will spend five minutes to continue to explain our concept and ask questions, which I think is a good finishing work for our concept. Looking back on my presentation today, I feel less nervous during it than I did the first time. I can state what I want to express calmly and clearly, and have a clearer idea of my future research direction in rca. Through this language class, I think I have learned a lot of unknown knowledge. Critical thinking is a way of thinking that I have not been exposed to. And in learning, I can overcome my fear of speaking in front of many people and become more courageous, which I think is the most precious. It also allows me to adapt to the British learning style, not limited to the thinking mode I have learned since childhood, and I can bravely express my ideas.

In the end, I sincerely thank janet for her guidance in the past two months, pointing out the problems in my essay, making me aware of my writing shortcomings, and correcting them in the future study. Thank you janet! I hope to see you again in London.
