         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students are encouraged to go to the bathroom during Arrival, Snack, Lunch/Recess, and after Dismissal (2:08). They can go during transition times&nbsp;<strong>only&nbsp;</strong>if a co-teacher from that room is going with them. If they ask to go during class, let them know when class ends and ask if they can hold it. If they can't, tell them they have 3 minutes and to sign out.&nbsp;<strong>Only one person from each class should ever be in the bathroom during content blocks.</strong>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>If students get two reminders about the same expectation (not calling out, doing their work), you should be having a one-on-one check-in with them: "Are you okay? What do you need to be successful right now?" If you can do this at their desk, do it.&nbsp;<strong>You should only ask students to go to the hallway if you can be there with them (if there's a co-teacher in the room with you).&nbsp;</strong>If you need support, text Vanessa or a teacher on prep to see if they can step in. If they can't, name that you'll follow up with the student after class (during the transition). </div>]]></description>

         <title>We may need to sit down in gym for expectations now, but I wouldn&#39;t want to do that all year.  (I think it can be frustrating for one class that is down there and ready to go needing to wait for the other class, and, more importantly, if kids are generally meeting the expectations and the expectations aren&#39;t changing it gets to be a time in which kids can tune out directions which is what we&#39;re trying to avoid.)</title>
