I used to think of it as a disease spreading around China, as most people would’ve in its early stages. Once the virus actually got to California and spread across the west coast of the country is when I started to worry a bit more. Eventually, when it started going all over the country, and especially Florida, is when I got very nervous. After time passed and it reached it’s peak, I was more relaxed about the virus. At that point I was thinking to myself, “Just another day,” and we’re still here. However, I feeling more hopeful now that the NBA is starting to hold practices and beaches are opening for recreational activities. Driving around and seeing how many people are stuck in little apartments without a backyard or swimming pool is very saddening and shows me one of the many ways I’m very blessed. Something else I’m grateful for is my aunt being able to take my great grandmother with her to the keys so she is not at a big risk of being exposed to the virus. Here in her home, my great grandmother is accustomed to letting folks into her home and sitting them down and having a conversation for a good amount of time. Being able to take her to a relatively isolated place that is also very relaxing and enjoyable like the keys is a very big blessing. When I can finally go over and play basketball and video games with him and our other close friends will be a very, very good day. Something else I have been feeling like doing is going out to the mall or top golf. These places were where I’d go and have a great time with my friends, and now we can’t even leave our home. Another thing I’d like to do is watch sports. Life has been very dry, and on top of it all there is no sports to provide entertainment or something to discuss. • “One thing I liked about the virtual draft is how smoothly it went. I didn’t notice many, if any, technical bugs and it was as the draft was held live in Vegas.”
• “Another thing I liked about the draft was the fans in the background on the tv. It may not seem like much, but I really liked the idea and the little bit of realism it added.”
• “My favorite part, of course, was the Dolphins draft. I really think they did an amazing job and addressed many team needs and got the franchise guy in Tua. I especially like how they built up the offensive line for him. Overall a grade A by me on their draft.”
